What is CBD?
Cannabidiol or CBD, as it is commonly known, is one of 113 cannabinoids most studied in the last 15 years. This molecule is found in all of the Cannabis Sativa L group of plants, which includes the Hemp plant, and has been used as medicine since ancient times in China, India and Egypt.
Today CBD oil is being used, and studied, as an effective alternative medicine therapy.
CBD is not phychotropic
CBD has not psychotropic effects, which means it does not change brain function or result in alterations in perception, mood, consciousness or behavior. Hemp and Marijuana, although from the same plant family, differ in that only the Marijuana plant contains THC, which is a cannabinoid that does have psychotropic effect. Marijuana is not yet legal in all countries or states, however, CBD derived from Hemp is completely legal ,and is being used for its therapeutic and medicinal properties.
The CBD is a component found naturally in hemp stems with the most diverse health benefits found in nature.
Hemp oil (CBD) contains an optimal proportion of Omega 3 for the human body. And besides being a complete source of protein, it also contains Alpha Lipoic Acid which is one of the most powerful substances available with anti-aging, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
How to take CBD oil
The laboratory recommends a dose of 1 (15 drops) to 8 droppers per day. Although the dose is quite personal to the user; testimonies of those using it in excess of 6 months recommend one dropper daily at one time, or half in the morning and half before bed and begin to notice the changes in your body (reduction of pain, anti-inflammatory effects and a general sense of well being).
We recommend keeping the product in a cool place to make it more palatable.
It is important that you shake the bottle vigorously before measuring the dose.
Place the dose under your tongue, and keep it there for at least 5 minutes before swallowing.
If the taste is too strong to administer in the ideal way you can mix it in a small amount of water or juice and drink.
Due to the sediments in the blend it may be necessary to wash the dropper in order to avoid clogs.
